The Forestry Helpdesk provides support for the software listed below. The programs are listed by group.
- Application documentation can be found by clicking on the program name hyperlink.
- Applications not on the list below are not supported by Forestry Helpdesk.
- Support and installation is provided on CoF supported computers only. See installation and license information for details.
- Version and service pack (SP) numbers listed are the most recent. Older versions may be supported if your system or special software will not work with the updated service pack or version. Please note dates that some software versions and operating systems will no longer be supported.

Support Levels
- Full - Helpdesk will install, trouble-shoot, and try to answer all questions (in some cases with support coming from Tier 2). Workshops (introductory and more advanced) and occasional one-on-one training are available for all Forestry Computing clients except undergrads.
- Limited - Helpdesk will install, trouble-shoot, and answer basic questions. For most applications introductory workshops are available for all Forestry Computing clients except undergrads.
- Install - Helpdesk will install the application and see that
the program starts up properly. How-to support and troubleshooting support
beyond launching the application is not provided by Helpdesk. Upon user
request, Helpdesk can set up message forums (Public Folders in Exchange)
and user managed mailing lists to assist the application's user base
in providing their own application support.
How-to support for Forestry Applications is provided by the faculty member listed.
How to find version information
- The software version for most programs can be found on the Help menu, click Help | About Program Name
- Windows operating system information can be found by right clicking on My Computer. Select Properties. In the System Properties window select the General tab.
