RAMAS-Stage
What is RAMAS-Stage ?Ramas/stage computes the chances of extinction and explosion for population models you design. Ramas/stage simulates discrete stage-structured population dynamics. It predicts the behavior of population trajectories driven by stochastic driver variables and estimates the quasi-extinction and quasi-explosion risks associated with these trajectories. The model used in the simulation is designed by the user through input on several pop-up windows. Multidimensional population structure is represented as named stages and groupings of stages. Each stage has an associated expression that specifies its abundance in the next time period as a function of its own or other stages' abundances or the values of named driver variables or defined parameters. |
