BehavePlus Installation Guide

Description:

"BehavePlus is a Windows software application to predict wildland fire behavior for fire management purposes. BehavePlus is designed for use by trained, professional wildland fire planners and managers familiar with fuels, weather, topography, wildfire situations, and the associated concepts and terminology."

License Information:

BehavePlus is Postcard Ware. By installing and using BehavePlus you agree to mail a picture postcard depicting your local area to the following address:

You must have administrator rights to install this program

Special Instructions / Quirks:

For use in the computing labs, add Everyone to the list of users in the Security tab for the program folder. Grant them Modify rights. Make this setting inheritable to all child objects in the folder. Otherwise it will only run for users with Admin rights.

Browse to this file: C:\Program Files\SEM\BehavePlus3\DefaultDataFolder\property.xml and change the Permissions for Users to Modify.

It has not been tested for use with Vista
