Description:

S-PLUS is used for exploratory data analysis, statistical modeling and data mining. Uses the S language.

License Information:

OSU S-Plus License
25-user lab license for COF networked (supported) computers.

Contact OSU Software License Coordinator for Faculty private (at-home or standalone) licenses. A private Faculty license is $60.00 per year.

COF students should contact OSU Software License Coordinator to request SPlus for their home computer at no cost.

Instructions:

You must have Administrator Rights to install this program

1. To begin an install of SPlus, run the executable at
"Q:\Resources\S-PLUS 8.04\setup.exe"
2. Choose Install/Configure Splus button
3. Accept the license agreement, Choose the options, etc.
4. When Splus is done, you’ll get back to the splash screen
5. Choose Install SPlus Modules button.
6. Install the Modules. You'll need to install each module separately. Most users need: Wavelets and Spatial Stats
7. Before running SPlus contact the CoF Helpdesk for license setup.

CD Key:

No keycode required for the network installation. See above for license setup.
