Description:

WordPerfect Office 11 suite includes WordPerfect, QuattroPro, Paradox and Presentation. Each component can be installed separately or you can install the entire suite.

License Information:

FCR has purchased a 10-user concurrent license. WordPerfect can only be installed on desktop computers connected to the Forestry network.

For installation on a OSU owned laptop you will need to purchase a private Academic license. Licenses can be purchased through OETC. Contact the Helpdesk for further assistance.

Disk Space Required:

About 450 MB for the local installation.

Installation Options:

Instructions:

You must have Administrator rights to install this program

Run the installer at Q:\install\wordpro\wp.exe

The installer will run the Corel Installer which will ask you for the serial number. The serial number will be displayed with additional installation instructions. Be sure to write it down. You will be asked for an install location (on your local disk), and which components you want to install. It is best to choose Install All to Local Disk. Read the instructions carefully. If you need to add additional components in the future, run the install program again. Once the installer is complete you will have to reboot your computer. Then run the installer a 2 more times to add a major service pack and patches.

CD Key:

Write down the CD key when dialog box appears.

Special Instructions / Quirks:

Need to run installer 2 additional times after the initial WordPerfect installation is complete to apply service pack and updates.

Additional Information:

These options, when placed after WP.EXE will do the following...

Rebuildicons - Will rebuild desktop and start menu icons to installer defaults.

Reinstall - Will reinstall program with previous settings in mind.

Reinstall! - Will reinstall program ignoring previous settings.
