WS_FTP Installation Guide

Description:

WS_FTP is a Windows-based file transfer client application that is used to transfer files between your local PC and a remote FTP server. With WS_FTP, you can connect to any FTP server, browse through directories and files, and transfer files (upload or download) in either direction.

Path:

"Q:\INSTALL\INTERNET\Wsftp.exe"

Disk Space Required:

2000kb (2MB) Local Install.
0kb (0MB) Network Install.

Installation Options:

localinstall

Instructions:

You must have Administrator Rights to install this program

To begin a network install of WS_FTP, simply run the executable at:
Q:\Install\Internet\Wsftp\WSFTP.EXE.
The default installation will run the program from the network. The only thing put on your local computer is an Icon and a small user settings file.

For a local install run:
Q:\Install\Internet\Wsftp\WSFTP.EXE localinstall.
Follow the instructions, this installation is quite simple. You may simply accept the defaults. If you are unfamiliar with how to install a program locally, please contact the helpdesk.

Additional Information:

These options, when placed after WSFTP.EXE will do the following...

Rebuildicons - Will rebuild desktop and start menu icons to installer defaults.

Reinstall - Will reinstall program with previous settings in mind.

Reinstall! - Will reinstall program ignoring previous settings.
