Microsoft Windows Mobile Classic
What is Windows Mobile Classic ?Previously known as PocketPC (PPC), this operating system runs on mobile devices like the HP iPaq and Dell Axim (discontinued). This OS uses the term "Classic" because it refers to a device without an integrated phone. Microsoft has equiped the units with an Operating System stored in ROM (often flashable) which contains a suite of application products including Active Sync which connects the PPC and your workstation.
