Richardson 215A and 215B Specialized Graduate Student Computer Lab
Location
The Richardson 215A and 215B are small rooms within the RH215. The lab is located on the second floor of Richardson Hall, on the far west side of campus.
Hours
The Richarson 215A and RH215B are open:
- Graduate students, faculty or staff with a key or the access code may access the lab at anytime.
- Limit time to 2 hours per session, so others can use the available specialized software.
Authorized Users
This lab is open to all COF graduate students, faculty and staff. However it is reserved for users needing to use one of the specialized software programs (see list below).
Hardware
The Richardson 215A and 215B consists of:
- 1 Dell OptiPlex GX620, 19" Flat Panel Monitors, Intel Pentium 4, 3.4Ghz, 2GB RAM.
- 1 Dell Optiplex 755 Intel® Core™ 2 Quad Processor 2.66 GHz w/ 4 GB RAM, DVD+/- RW
- HP Scanjet 8270 flatbed scanner (RH215A only)
Software
Software available in the computing labs in the
College of Forestry is located at the following link.
General Software
Specialized grad lab software
Approved software that is installed on a limited number
of computers in the lab due to licensing restrictions. Helpdesk does not provide technical support for these programs.
Pure Edge Viewer
The following software is installed on the computers in RH215A and RH215B
- Adobe Photoshop CS4
- Adobe Illustrator CS4
- Adobe InDesign CS4
- Adobe Acrobat Pro 9
- Nvivo 8 (on RH215B computer only)
- Wave Pedal 5
- Olympus Digital Voice recorder
