Computing Tip

How to Lock / Unlock your Workstation

The information in this article applies to:

Operating System(s)
Windows XP


This only works with Windows NT/2000/XP....

To Lock Workstation:

  1. Press [CTRL]+[ALT]+[DEL] keys at the same time.

  2. Click Lock Workstation button.

To Unlock Workstation:

  1. Press [CTRL]+[ALT]+[DEL] keys at the same time.

  2. Enter your password.

  3. Click OK.
