GIS/ArcInfo: How can I shift a coverage in x,y space?

Answer

  1. CREATE <new> <old>
  2. In TABLES, select new.tic info file reselect each tic-id and calc new location for x-tic and y-tic
  3. TRANSFORM <old> <new>
This will set up a new coverage with tics shifted and then copy the features from the old coverage into the new tic space.
