Laptop and projector rentals are only available to customers supported by the Quantitative Sciences Group (QSG) Service Center. (Supported customers pay Helpdesk, network access and machine fees for support within the QSG service center.)
Rental fees vary based on event type, see below.
Work-related, non-fee event — $10 per day, $5 per 1/2 day
Non-OSU-course (non-traditional students) or event charging
fees to attendees $60 per day
Work-related, non-fee event — $10 per day, $5 per 1/2 day
Non-OSU-course (non-traditional students) event charging
fees to attendees $35 per day
Any QSG customer rental of an instructional computing lab: $510 per
day
(for supported event charging fees to attendees or event not related
to supported work)
Any non-customer rental of an instructional computing
lab:
$1050 per day (when classes are in session)
$510 per day (during
term breaks and summer)
NOTE: 15% deposit required per day for each event. Deposits are fully
refundable only if cancellation occurs a minimum of 14 days before
the event starting
date.
Note: These fees are based on the replacement
values of the equipment being provided, the underlying network infrastructure
costs for the computing labs, and the estimated consultation time that
is necessary to show customers how to operate equipment and/or assisting
with equipment set-up.
