How to Set a Default Printer
Click on Start | Settings | Printers to bring up the printers window.
Right Click on the printer you want to make your default, and select
'Set as Default Printer' from the list of options.
Once you've made the change, the new printer should now show up with a white on black check beside it. This means it is now the default printer.
